16/03/18 We celebrate Saint Patrick's Day

15/01/18 Martin Luther King's Day

On the third Monday of January, Americans remember the importance of Martin Luther King's work, his fight against segregation, his speech "I HAVE A DREAM". We have been working on this topic and we have done different types of assignments in 1st and 2nd British.

23/11/17 Thanksgiving Day

On the fourth Thursday of November, we can smell millions of turkeys roasting in American ovens. It's the beginning of Christmas time, it's the beginning of family gatherings and presents. It's time to say what we are grateful for and listen to what others have to say. It's time to say THANKS.

20/10/17 Dubbing Activity

Our students of 1st British tried their best dubbing scenes from the Lion King. Here is an example of one of the groups. Practice makes perfect! We'll keep on practising.

16/11/17 Meet the Teachers!

Let us introduce ourselves. This year, Andres Tanco and Leyre Quintana are pleased to teach the hard working students of 1st of ESO British, while Cristina Aranda will have the honour to keep her students from last year in 2nd of ESO.

We are very excited to start using a new tool we think will improve your technologycal and liguistic skills: Google Classroom! Apart from offering optional and compulsory activities, we will be pleased to receive your feedback, any comments or questions you may want to ask.

Get ready for lots of fun activities, such as fashion shows, dubbing movie scenes, idioms, lapbooks, Coggle, oral presentations and festivities, among others. All of them will require some effort from all of us but we are positive it will be worth the try.

Although Classroom access is limited to students, we will post here some examples of the best work in class, so family and friends will be able to enjoy them.

Everyone on board? Le't take off!!

17/03/17 Saint Patrick's Day

Wearing green and a happy face, we tried to establish direct communication with Lydia, our contact in Dublin. The signal was terrible and we couldn't talk to her, but at least we could start a Skype videoconference.
